  Bracelets

Bracelets are a favorite of jewelers whose popularity is limited not only in India but also throughout the world. Bracelet, which is worn on the wrists, is certainly one of the favorite jewellery that you find in the cabinet of almost all women. The bracelet word is derived from the Latin word that means brachille arm. The history of bracelet dates back to about 5000 BC. In Egypt, these bracelets are very common. Meanwhile, the Egyptians used mainly bracelets of bone, stone and wood. These bracelets have divine and spiritual association. The most common form of bracelets was Egyptian scarab bracelets, which was a symbol of rebirth and regeneration. The scarab bracelets find its place in Egyptian mythology and were tied with bands of Egyptian mummies.

Bracelets are also widespread in Latin America and were regarded as a protection against evil. In Latin America, these bracelets which were called Azabache were mainly gold and black or red coral. These bracelets were tied on the arms of newborns and adults with a conviction that they were infested with magical powers and could drive all bad omens and evil.

Bulgarians also wearing a red and white bracelet, to meet Baba Marta on one occasion, called martenitsa, which is generally held to seek blessings for the coming spring.

Bracelets have resemblance with each other because both are worn on the hands, but the bracelets have slight deviation from the traditional designed bracelets.

Traditional bracelets are gold and silver. Pearl bracelets are also preferred by some women. Bracelets studded with various gemstones such as rubies, sapphires and emeralds have a unique look. Diamonds are the best friends of women and, therefore, bracelets studded with gold with a diamond or two are in use today.

You can create platinum bands studded with diamonds that certainly give you an elegant and refined look.

If you believe in the power of gemstones to expel evil charms, you can wear a bracelet with the stone of the zodiac. Bracelets are actually a very popular gift for women from almost all ages They may be seen as a sign of love or friendship as well.

Apart from gold ,there are silver, diamonds or other precious and semi precious stone studded bracelets, nowadays, there are also plastic, cloth, rubber, wood, shells and rocks. Adolescents are fond of fashion bracelets they can wear with all types of clothing.

Tennis bands and sports bracelets are all recent forms of bracelets that have become very popular lately. The sports bracelets which are usually made of silicon rubber were first launched by Nike. The bracelets that you can see in the hands of tennis players like Gabriela Sabatini and Serena Williams are called tennis bracelets. These thin diamond tennis bracelets have a symmetrical structure.

You will find it difficult to find women whose jewellery box is devoid of the beautiful jewels. Bracelet which can be used not only as ornaments, but also for various other purposes is popular types of jewellery in India and abroad.
